Post by bh Tue Jul 22, 2008 11:48 am

dear all,

beware of all your belonging such as shoes, cloths and car which kept outside your house!

this morning i notice my two pairs of shoe missing and we found some petrol stain underneath my wife's car which park beside the main gate. at first we thought the car is leaking and send to the workshop but later confirmed that the bolt under the fuel tank was open by someone to steal the petrol!!

Dear residents,

This thing happen to me this morning! Someone open the bolt and the best thing i went to fiil up my petrol (Full tank) without knowing it and within a few hours my car petrol empty. Only realise it when someone told me that my car tank is leaking!

I hope we all need to wake up and speed up the proposal of gated and guarded area before something very bad happen to one of us.

patrol price UP, price of consumer and other goods go UP, inflation rate go UP, cost of living go UP, crime rate go UP, everything is going UP... many of the UPs we have no control, but we can control the safety and security of our community - that should be our NO 1 priority... let us ALL support this move of a gated and guarded community... lets clean up this mess... say we have 480 units? say RM30 a month a unit? that works out to RM14,400 a month... we can make a different with this $$$$,,,, what do you think????

Nash, I did a rough count and pardon for the assumption... this is how I counted...

1. The Jalan Hilir 6 resident list has 80 numbers, I assume 80 units
2. Jalan Hilir 5 has 2 rows facing each other, thus 80 units X 2 = 160 units
3. Jalan Hilir 4 also has 2 opposing rows, thus 80 units X 2 = 160 units
4. Jalan Hilir 3 = Jalan Hilir 6 = 80 units
Total = 480 units....

I think it is more like 40 units per row, so HALF loh... even that, the collection at say RM 30 per unit is still good to revamp the whole community's look and feel... to start with...

Make an effort to bring your car key when you go to bed so that when you realised a theft is in progress, you could just trigerred the car alarm. Adjacent neighbour should (at least) take a look rather than assume that it is a false alarm.

A note to add, you could store your old golf set in you bedroom, it may be handy when the time comes.
